Coddle Studio for Mac, Windows and Ubuntu
The Studio you know from the browser, made better: projects in tabs and windows, files right in your repository folder, notifications, and it works offline.

Choose your system
One account on every device: sign in through the browser and your projects, agents and notifications are all there.
Why the app beats a browser tab
Everything Studio does on the site, and what only an app can.
Tabs and windows
Every project and document opens in its own tab, as in Figma. Drag tabs between windows; after a restart everything is right where you left it.
Repository folder
AGENTS.md, the schema and the architecture are written into your repository on every change, and an agent connects in one click.
Notifications
New discussions, replies and mentions arrive as system notifications, and the unread count sits on the app's icon.
Works offline
Projects you opened stay readable without a connection, and edits made offline are saved the moment you're back.
Updates itself
A new version downloads in the background and installs with one click — no trip back to the site.
The same account
Sign in through the browser, just like on the site. Access keys are kept in the system's secure storage.
First launch
On the Mac the app is signed and notarized by Apple — it opens like any other app. Windows signing comes later, so SmartScreen asks you to confirm the first launch.
- 1
Open the downloaded .dmg and drag Coddle Studio into Applications.
- 2
Launch Coddle Studio from Applications or Launchpad. macOS checks once that you want to open an app from the internet — click Open.
- 3
Click Sign in with the browser — your projects, agents and notifications are all there. From then on the app updates itself.
Questions
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Coddle is free for everyone: no plans, no ads, no subscriptions.
Do I need a separate account?
No, it's the same account as on the site. Sign in through the browser and all your projects are in the app.
Why does Windows warn me on the first launch?
On the Mac the app is signed and notarized by Apple, but we don't have Microsoft's signature for Windows yet. So SmartScreen asks you to confirm the launch once — after that, no more questions.
How do I update the app?
You don't have to: it checks for updates, downloads the new version and offers to restart. To check by hand, use Check for Updates… in the menu.
What happens without internet?
Projects you've opened are read from saved copies. Edits made offline are sent on their own once you're back online.
